Hugh Griffith is a senior executive with over seventeen years experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, having held CEO, COO and Executive Director positions.  
He led Bioenvision's operations, from start-up to a global, fully integrated, NASDAQ National Market listed biopharmaceutical company.  Hugh was instrumental in increasing Bioenvision's market capitalization from $22 million to $345 million in five years, culminating in the company's successful acquisition.   
Hugh has wide pharmaceutical experience having held numerous positions in Abbott Laboratories; Parke-Davis, Warner Lambert and QuantaNova Ltd.
Hugh supports a number of early stage biopharmaceutical companies as co-founder, director, investor and/or advisor. He is CEO & Gatekeeper for Alida Capital International Ltd, a specialist biopharmaceutical business angel syndicate and serves on the Scottish committee for the BioIndustry Association.
Hugh holds an MBA from Cardiff Business School; a Diploma in
Marketing; and a BSc Honours in Biology from the University of Stirling.
