Scott Nelson was the Finance Director of Sun Alliance Insurance Group from 1991 contributing to the merger with Royal Insurance in 1996. A career of 27 years with Sun Alliance included responsibility for all major finance functions across the international operations of the FTSE 100 Group. He has subsequently held several Non-Executive Directorships including Chairman of MMA Insurance UK plc. Prior to joining the insurance industry Scott Nelson worked as a consultant with PA Management Consultants in the UK. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland and received his university Degree in modern languages and law from Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge.
